FIVE THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU FEEL STUCK

We all go through some crazy seasons in life where we just feel stuck. Whether it's that we're not accomplishing what we would like to, we don't feel we are living out our purpose, or that we are stuck in our careers. We've all been there at one time or another. Here are a few things that I have found help me get back on track when I am feeling stuck.

Breathe & treat yo self //

Take a breath and relax. I have to constantly remind myself of this one. But the fun part and what helps me the most is treatin' myself. Now I'm not talking about an insane shopping spree, I'm talking about the little things in life that make you happy. Whether it be a cup of coffee from Starbucks, a new eyeshadow from Ulta, or a manicure. Do something for you and only you.

New Hobby //

After I quit my job in February, (Read about it here >>> Why I Quit My Job Without Having Another) I needed to do something with all of my spare time. A few months ago, I decided to take my blog a little more seriously, but now that I have more time on my hands, I am aiming to get more sponsorships through blogging consistency and quality content. I love writing. It's almost therapy for me. It allows me to get my heart and soul out there for my personal posts and I get to use my beauty and fashion knowledge for my other posts. It's a perfect mix of who I am. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be a famous blogger or something. ; )

Plan a party or event //

As ya'll know, I'm in the process of planning my wedding. This has been perfect for me because every day, I have something I need to be doing for the planning process. Before wedding planning came along, I would always look for an excuse to have friends over and throw a party. A Christmas party, birthday party, a just because party-- I love parties and all of the planning that comes with it. People tell me I should be an event coordinator. haha!

Purge & Minimize //

This has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. Purging and minimizing the way I live. I kid you not, so far, I have listed over 200 items on Poshmark: shop here! and it feels great to have all of my clothes fit in ONE closet. At my church, we have been doing a series on Minimalism and it's probably my favorite series we have ever done. It feels good to know what I have now and on the plus side, I'm making tons of extra wedding money selling the things that I no longer need.

Write a list of your dreams //

Get it all out on paper. Things that you want to accomplish, places you want to go, anything and everything. Short term or long term goals, too! It helps you stay grounded and know what you want to do with your life or maybe what's your next step to achieve those goals. I am a list maker for sure and I always find that if I write something out on paper, it is more likely to get accomplished than if I don't. There is just something so satisfying about physically crossing it out on paper!

I hope some of these ideas help you when you are feeling stuck in a rut. What are some things that you do when you are feeling stuck?

Stay Classy.

Kristen
