CREAM MOCK TURTLENECK + DIY FALL MANICURE

Happy Fri-Yay, friends! I am so glad that it's the weekend! This week has felt like an eternity, because I've been anxiously awaiting this weekend and getting to spend time with family! Wednesday was my husband's birthday, so this weekend will be full of celebrating and relaxation. For today's post, I wanted to share a super casual look that would be perfect for Thanksgiving or just any fall look! I'm also sharing my new favorite nail polish. Hint: It's from the drugstore and it lasts forever!

Cream Mock Turtleneck //

I've been loving the mock turtleneck trend! I actually purchased the sweater in this post a few years ago and I couldn't find the exact one, but the Ann Taylor Outlet doesn't have a website for me to link to. There is a possibility that they have the same sweater style in-store this season. So if you're ever by the outlets, take a peek in-store! If it's there, let me know in the comments. I just love the way the tunic style of the sweater comes down just a bit more and the slits on the sides of the sweater allows for a more loose fit!

You know your girl is going to be rockin' these same distressed denim jeans I have been for the last few posts 'cause they are just so comfy! I actually just went on a mini shopping spree at Tilly's both online & in-store where these jeans are from. They are having 50% off already marked down clearance, and I grabbed two pairs of jeans and two booties for under $50! When I find a pair of jeans that fit, I grab them in basically every style and color option. Anywhoo, if you're looking for a cozy and comfy outfit for Thanksgiving, this one is perfect!

DIY Fall Manicure //

Okay girlfriend. It's time to stop going to the salon, because I have officially found the best drugstore nail polish. Last week, I received a PR package complimentary of Influenster for testing with two Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail polish colors inside! With one application, I am obsessed and I will definitely be buying more shades super soon! In my package, I received the shades Taupe to Go and Midnight Drive. I just loved the dark neutral of Taupe to Go, so I decided to try that one first! I think I'm going to try the Midnight Drive (a deep navy color) for a winter look with a silver sparkle accent nail.

With just two coats, I had the perfect color. The bottle says you only need one, but I wanted a little bit more color and coverage, so the second coat really helped even everything out, including my messy paint job. I loved that the polish was super easy to get off your skin, too. It kept my DIY mani looking clean and perfect. One last rave--It truly dries super duper fast! I barely had to wait for it to dry, which for me is huge!
