STYLING A TIE FRONT SWEATER FOR FALL

Nov 9, 2017

Happy Thursday, friends! We've almost made it to the weekend and that's something to celebrate. It's been an unusually busy week for me, but that's definitely a good thing. I've been working hard prepping upcoming collabs & photoshoots and loving every minute of it. Being my own #girlboss is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding adventures ever.

For today's post, I'm keeping it super simple with a casual tie front sweater. I had been wanting one so bad ever since I saw them in the Nordstrom sale a few months ago, but I never purchased one. I ended up finding the one in today's post at T.J. Maxx and I'm completely obsessed. T.J. Maxx for the win, y'all!

This is my first tie front sweater ever, so I wasn't so sure how to style it. I figured that since I work from home, I would keep it casual. It's also the perfect weekend outfit for running errands or heading out to a local coffee shop.

I've been wearing these jeans on repeat, because honestly, they're so comfortable that I never want to wear my others! A distressed denim just speaks to my fashion loving heart, especially with the extra frayed bottoms. For shoes, I'm wearing leopard flats. Please tell me y'all love leopard print?! My husband hates any animal print, but I've always loved leopard. I don't know why--there's just something about it that I love. I think it's because it's such a versatile print. It can literally go with any color, and even patterns like stripes or gingham.

I'm always a little extra when it comes to jewelry. I can't help it. I feel naked without my watch and bracelet on. It's kinda hard to see in the pics, but I'm wearing dainty gold hoop earrings and a double layered gold necklace. Even when I'm going for a super casual look, I always have to finish off my look with jewelry of some kind. It just completes the look for me, and it will for you, too!
