During the Holidays, everyone and their mother is running around like crazy to finish everything on their to-do lists. Whether it's finishing up tasks for work, prepping the home for a Christmas party, or getting the last of the Holiday shopping & present wrapping in, saving a little time is always a good thing. Even more so now that the days seem so much shorter. Today, I'm sharing a few time saving tips that will surely help you out as we get into crunch time this Holiday season.

One // Write a list of everyone you have to shop for

I will physically write down everyone's name that I'm buying gifts for. I will then go through and add in gift ideas, then check them off when I have purchased it. This way I keep track of everything I'm buying, I'm not wasting time shopping for someone who's already been shopped for, and I'm not overspending either!

Two // Clean one room of the house each day

Cleaning one room at a time is so much less stressful than tackling the entire house at one time. Once a room is cleaned, keep is clean. This way right before guests come over, only minor cleaning touchups need to be made.

Three // Grab lunch or dinner to-go

This can be something you grab for yourself or the whole family. Ahold stores (Giant) offer delicious deli meal combos perfect for everyone. It was so super simple to choose my meal, too! They have everything in one section within the deli department to make it quick and convenient. For your main meal, you can choose from a salad, wrap, whole, or half sub. You then choose one 20oz Coca-Cola™beverage. Lastly, to add to your combo, you choose one side, which can be pretzel rods, chips, or cheese bites! You get a complete meal for only $8 and you've saved so much time!

For my combo meal, I chose the Chef Salad, Classic Coca-Cola™ and a bag of Deep River Sea Salt Kettle Chips. The one thing that I love about the combo meal is I can choose from so many options giving me endless possibilities. In case you are a vegetarian like me, the salads are a great option! Even though they have meat included, the meat is actually packaged separately, so I was able to remove it right from the container before putting it on my plate!

Four // Wrap presents as you buy them

This saves tons of time, because once they're bought and wrapped, they are ready to go for Christmas. I will usually use them as Christmas decor under my tree once they are wrapped as well, so it's like a win-win.

Five // Write a detailed grocery shopping list

If you can't tell, I love lists. They keep me sane and organized. All too often, people get to the grocery store (which is super hectic during the Holidays) and forget what they need. In turn, they end up wasting time going back and forth to the grocery store. Writing one list that covers all meals and dishes saves time and energy in the long run. Can I just tell you, I've created a list monster. My husband was in charge of writing out a list of all the things we need at the grocery store for our Christmas party and not only did he write the list, but he separated it into sections and food aisles! I've never been so in love. haha!

I hope that you've been having a wonderful Holiday season so far! What are some of your time saving tips? I'd love to know, so leave them in the comments below.

Stay Classy.

Kristen
