Anyone else enduring several snowstorms?! Although, I'm not complaining, because it means my hubby gets snowed in, too! I've been loving getting to work side-by-side with him. Since it's been so unbearably cold, I wanted to put together a list of self-care rituals that are perfect specifically for the winter, especially when all we want to do is stay warm.

One // Sip hot chocolate and listen to your favorite album

I have an addiction to hot chocolate. I could drink a cup (or two!) every single day during the colder months. There's just something so soothing about relaxing with a cup to wind down. Whenever I need to wind down after a tough day or I just want to feel inspired, I put on some music, too!

Two // Do a hand mask

Please tell me I'm not the only one that turns into a dry-skinned mess during the winter?! The winter just wreaks havoc on my skin, specifically my hands, so I love doing a hand mask to get rid of all the dead skin! They leave your hands feeling amazing!

Three // Use a sunless tanner

A sunless tanner is the one thing that can instantly make me feel better in the winter. Not only do I get a gorgeous sunless glow, I feel slightly skinnier in all of my layers. My motto: If ya can't tone it, tan it. Plus, who's toning in the winter?! 😂

Four // Do a moisturizing face mask

There are so many great face masks out there from mud masks, peels, and sheet masks, there's something for everyone! I love doing sheet masks in the wintertime, because I find that there are more moisturizing options.

Five // Upgrade your feminine products

If you want feminine products that you can trust, Seventh Generation™ has you covered. For more than twenty-five years, Seventh Generation™ has been formulating plant-based products that are safe and that work. Their company's values are as important as the products they make.

The Seventh Generation™ Comfort Applicator Tampons (18 count) is a new product. The Free & Clear, Certified Organic Cotton Tampons are hypoallergenic and made for your most sensitive skin with no added fragrances. Free & Clear means the product does not have any artificial dyes and any sort of fragrance, natural or artificial.

Both the Free & Clear fragrance-free Ulta-Thin Pads with Wings (18 count) and the Free & Clear Pantiliners (50 count) provide the protection you need and are made without fragrances so your most sensitive skin is not exposed to unnecessary chemicals. Their innovative PureFit™ design conforms to your body for reliable protection with secure, no-slip adhesive, and comfort. The PureFit™ designs are processed without chemicals containing chlorine.

Six // Paint your nails

Would it even be a self-care post if I didn't include this?! Go grab your favorite polish and get to painting!

Seven // Watch a movie snuggled under a heated blanket

My heated blanket has been my favorite thing ever since the temperature has dropped. I've been dragging it everywhere like Linus from Charlie Brown. It just feels so heavenly and you'll always be warm!

Eight // Change your sheets to flannel

Speaking of keeping warm in the winter, changing your sheets to flannel is the perfect mini upgrade! There are tons of flannel sheet options out there and they are oh so cozy at night. In the morning, they make it hard to get out of bed because they are that cozy.

Nine // Buy yourself a new cozy sweater

The wintertime is all about trying to stay warm and cozy in this arctic weather. I'm all about heading to the clearance rack and picking up a new sweater or two. I've found so many sweaters on sale this year for under twenty dollars that have been the perfect bad day pick-me-up!

Ten // Write a list of everything you love about yourself

I've saved the best for last, because this is my all-time favorite self-care ritual. During the winter, seasonal depression really kicks my butt and makes my anxiety and depression that much worse. Something that helps me is to sit down, have some quiet time to myself, and write a list of everything I love about myself. It will surprise you how much you can think of. Then, when you are feeling down, go back to that list and remind yourself that you are worth it. You are loved. You are beautiful.

What self-care rituals are you going to try this week? Do you have any other suggestions?! Leave them in the comments.
