When I was growing up, I never had a Nordstrom around me. Okay, wait. Let me be even more clear, I didn't even have a real mall around me! There were two malls within 45 minutes, but if I'm being honest, the three "good" stores and Chick-Fil-A don't count. When I moved to the Philadelphia area for college, I then discovered a glorious heaven on earth... the King of Prussia mall & all of the many, many stores inside. I was almost in awe of how many stores were in one place. Not long after college, I was working and managing one of those very stores I visited my first year of college!
I never thought that I would ever be able to afford anything in such a high-class mall--and definitely not at Nordstrom. I didn't even dare walk in! Now fast forwarding a few more years, I'm no longer working in retail, full-time blogging my heart away, and ya girl loves to shop. But what I love even more is finding designer & high-end items at great prices!

Let's be real...in the real world, most of us don't have that kind of money laying around, so I've decided to find some of my favorite style & beauty items under $40 at Nordstrom. A lot of these items are ones I can't find anywhere else and have grown to love, so I thought I'd share them with you! There are a few items on the list that I've been wanting, and I thought I'd include those, too!

Those high waisted shorts are getting all my heart eyes! I'm very in love with this trend and I'm really hoping for some staying power. Love all the different pieces you included...and love the price tags even more!! :)

DeleteHey Kristen! It's so funny, knowing the title of this blog post I was instantly drawn to it, because it's so true - it IS hard to find cheaper prices at Nordstrom! Last November I purchased an oversized plush throw, it was under $40 and it INSTANTLY converted me to a Nordstrom girl - the quality is just THAT good. I've never tried a face roller, would you recommend one? I'm definitely intrigued! I also have not tried the Double Wear foundation either - I know it's all the rage! Thank you so much for sharing! ReplyDeleteThe quality is just SO amazing. I definitely love finding the sales and amazing prices. So, I haven't personally tried a facial roller like this one, I've just heard amazing things! It's one of the things I've been dying to try!! The EL Foundation is AMAZING. I love it!!

DeleteI never thought I could be a Nordstrom shopper, either. BUT! I've learned that there are some cute things there for decent prices AND that I can get some of the more expensive things on sale if the timing is right! Plus, the pieces I have splurged on have lasted me FOREVER!

YES! The pieces I have gotten at Nordstrom last me SO much longer than most other brands. Definitely sticking with quality pieces over tons of cheaper items.
