Oh how NYC has stolen my heart. Just being there for a weekend has me head over heels for such a crazy busy, beautiful city. There was just something about the busyness that got me excited. Everyone was going somewhere, they were on a mission, like their dreams depended on it!

I'm not going to lie, the busyness was super intimidating at first, but once I figured out where in the world I was & where I was going, it all just fell into place. I mean, granted, I couldn't find where in the heck to go to get to the subway, but I sure as heck could hail a cab!
The first night I was in the city, I couldn't fall asleep for the life of me! Maybe it was because I was too excited, or maybe because I was a couple blocks away from Times Square and it's loud at all hours of the night! It's kinda funny how your body adapts to things though, because by the second night, those sirens and car horns sounded more like a melody rather than noise as it put me to sleep.
I don't know if I could ever live in NYC, but experiencing it for the weekend has changed me forever. NYC is where dreams are born, it's where people go to make them happen, and for me, it ignited them. You see all walks of life, all pay grades, and every fashion style imaginable--all within one block. There's something inspiring about that. You're surrounded by literally millions of other people that are hustling just as hard as you are to make their dreams come alive.
I just loved seeing the fashion styles. There was everything from casual headed to the gym styles to classy Chanel, and yes, everything in between. Since I was headed to a conference or out for the evening, I was dressed to impress.

Let me tell ya, if you walk the streets of New York lookin' like a million bucks, you'll get the biggest confidence booster you've ever gotten! haha! Thank you random people who complimented me as I was walking down the street. My head was too big for the subway, so I had to take a cab. 😂
In all seriousness, it's amazing to see the styles of each person as you walk the streets. It might have been my favorite part, so today, I'm sharing with you my favorite outfit I wore in the city!
