PREPPY SUMMER OUTFIT || WHITE SCALLOP SHORTS & GINGHAM TOP

Friends, I feel like it's been YEARS since I've posted on the blog! It's only been a week, but still, it's been way too long. I had a lot going on the past week or so, and a break was much needed! Don't worry, I was still super busy prepping amazing things that are going to go live on the blog soon, and yes, even in my personal life! I can't wait to share more with you. Now to the fun part: my outfit. As the summer days start to pass us by, my outfits become preppier and preppier. If I could own all the preppy things, I totally would. Give me all of the gingham, scallops, and bows the world has to offer, and I'll be the happiest girl on the planet. There's just something about this combo that makes my heart so happy.

Even though it's a preppy style, I kept it on the casual side. My bow slides gave me all the heart-eyes when I saw them in-store, and they were the first thing I bought after my No Spend Month, and it's only because my other Jack Rogers sandals broke, (*cue the tears*) but also because they're really cute & pretty comfy!

My top is a classic gingham button down from J.Crew Factory, but they've had so many cute tie button downs, so I tied the bottom of mine to update it and make the button down a little more casual & relaxed. My shorts are also from J.Crew Factory, and they are honestly the most comfy shorts I've ever owned. I definitely want to eventually get them in more colors. They're also on sale right now for under $20!

It's the perfect outfit for a casual night out with friends or even a date night! Definitely grab one of your button downs and make it casual with shorts. If you don't have these scalloped shorts, be sure to grab them ASAP! They're definitely a forever summertime staple.
