TEN THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW YOU NEEDED ON YOUR WEDDING REGISTRY

Happy #WeddingWednesday, friends! I haven't posted anything wedding related lately, and I've been inspired to write a wedding registry post since my hubby and I are headed to a wedding this weekend, and it's the start of fall wedding season!

Finding the perfect gift for someone is super hard, especially if peeps don't have a killer wedding registry. So, if you are planning a wedding, here a few things that you probably haven't thought about adding to your wedding registry.

One // Tool Kit

Everyone needs a tool kit. From screwdrivers to hammers, there will always be a need for tools. Whether you're testing your marriage right off the bat by assembling IKEA furniture or you're hanging photos on the wall, tools will be needed!

This is something not a lot of people think about, but needs to be on your list. You'll want a safe place to store your marriage certificate, social security cards, birth certificates, car titles, insurance policies, and any other important documents you may have. In the event of a fire, God forbid, you'll want your documents safe. It's also super helpful to have all of your important documents in one place so that you both know where they are--this way nothing ever gets misplaced.

Three // Luggage Set

Whether you're about to head out for your honeymoon or you like to travel, a luggage set is a must-have! I personally love the hard rolling kind. I just purchase this one from Target before I went to NYC, and it was so easy to roll around the city, plus it held so much!

If you're anything like me, you loathe ironing. I've recently fallen in love with steaming my clothes. Not only is it a million times easier than ironing, it's so much faster!

Five // Dyson Vacuum

I purchased this Dyson about two years ago, and it was the best thing I had ever bought. It picks up so much dirt, hair, dust, etc. Honestly, it picks up so much out of carpets that it freaks me out a little that so much was actually in the carpet! It's a must-have for Chris and I, and we highly recommend it!

Every home needs a paper shredder. Shredding old checks, documents, credit cards, and more--it'll need to be shredded at some point or another. It may not be something you use every single day, but it's nice to have around for those days where you need to shred and purge your office.

Having extra extension cords and power strips are so essentials--especially if you're moving or you want to change up your lighting situation a little. We both have power strips next to our bedside tables so that we are able to plug in our phones, laptops, iPads, and lamp.

Eight // Board Games

When you invite friends over, board games are a must! We love playing card games and board games with our friends. On our wedding registry, we actually had tons of the vintage board games so that it fit in with our farmhouse decor in our living room! They became decor for a shelf on our TV stand and were fun games we loved to play. Put a couple two player games on your registry, too. They're perfect for rainy weekends for the two of you to play!

Nine // Dining Set

Putting our dining set on our registry was the smartest thing we ever did. We ended up receiving our entire dining set, and it was the first piece of furniture that we owned as a married couple. It's so special to us, because not only is it our dream farmhouse table, it's the dining table where we host family get-togethers, friendsgiving, and where one day, we will have dinner with our kids.

Last, but certainly not least, put matching hangers on that registry! There is no need to have mismatched hangers. Having all of the same hanger in your closet will keep it looking organized and cohesive.

What were some must-haves for your registry?!
