HIGH-END VS DRUGSTORE MAKEUP FAVORITES

I've been wanting to write this post for a long time! I used to think that drugstore makeup products weren't as good and didn't stay on as well as high-end makeup products. Well, over the years, I've thankfully changed my thoughts on that, because I have found so many amazing drugstore products that perform just as well, if not better than some high-end products!

Today, I'm breaking it down and sharing my top favorite makeup products--both high-end and drugstore! I also give a little blurb for each product so you know what I like about the products, and you can compare them for yourself!

I've been using the HG setting powder for about a year now, and I'm obsessed! Nothing...and I mean nothing keeps my makeup in place like this does. It's a steep price tag, but it lasts a while, and a very little goes a long way!

I received this in a PR package towards the end of summer, and I'm hooked! If you're looking for a drugstore priced setting powder, this is it! Not only will it set your makeup, it will also help to brighten under your eyes and in your t-zone.

These liners are the creamiest you will ever try. They don't dry your lips out at all, and they are so pigmented. You can either wear them alone or under or over your favorite lipstick!

I'm all about finding an amazing deal, and this might be my favorite. This is my total dupe for the BM lip liners. They cost under $4 and they work just as well. Though they aren't as creamy, they still have amazing stay power and don't dry out your lips.

I received my first ever BB in a PR package and I love using it--however, it's so small and I kept missing my RT Sponge! It definitely works amazing to seamlessly blend in your makeup, but honestly, is it necessary to spend $20 on a sponge?!

This is my holy grail of all sponges. It melts my makeup into my skin and leaves it looking natural and fresh. I would grab this sponge over anything else, because I know that it will always get the job done. I will blend in my liquid foundations and also use it to apply my setting powders.

I have a blush and contour palette from Becca, and I'm obsessed with mixing two of the blushes together. They have a little shimmer in them, so they give my cheeks the perfect glow that I love! They blend amazingly, and if you're looking for a high-quality blush, I definitely recommend Becca!

This is the best $3 you will ever spend. Yep, you read that right. $3 for a full-sized blush. It doesn't break me out, and it blends so well. At first I was skeptical, but I've been using the same blush for months & months, and I'm still in love with it.

Hello creamy pigmentation! These shadows give you so much color. You hardly tap into the pan, and you've got a smoky eye! I love the color payout, and I feel as if they are worth the money!

I'm a Morphe junkie. I own so many palettes, and I've always been impressed with the quality--especially for the price! The shadows are super pigmented and creamy and last all day long. I always get compliments when I use colors from 35O palette.

Each and every time this spray goes on sale, I stock up. I usually do three sprays all over my face, and it just helps continue to melt my makeup into my skin and keeps it in place for hours on end. Sometimes after you use a ton of powder bronzers, blushes, highlighters, etc., you just need a bit of a refresher to set your makeup a bit further. It's the perfect final step.

If you need a budget friendly version of the UD Setting Spray, this one from NYX works so well! There is a Dewy or a Matte option to choose from. I've personally only tried the dewy version, but I've heard amazing things about the matte version as well!

I like a long-lasting creamy lipstick, and this one takes the cake. It will stay on all day--even through meals (when I use a liner!) and even when the color does fade away, they fade away gorgeously...then I just add a bit more on top as needed!

I grabbed a Morphe lipstick on a whim while at Ulta Beauty, and I'm so glad I did! They stay on so well and feel great on the lips. They also don't slide all over your face. It's the worst when inexpensive lippies end up halfway down your chin, but this one doesn't do that at all!

This has been one of my go-to's ever since I received it in a PR package from Ulta Beauty. It stays on so well and it doesn't budge! I never have to worry about it transferring underneath my eyes, and it stays pigmented all day long.

If you're in need of a budget friendly liner, this is a great one to go with! They're super pigmented and creamy--totally a great drugstore eye liner!
Anastasia Brow Pencil

If you haven't tried an Anastasia brow pencil, you're missing out. I used to use the Brow Wiz like there was no tomorrow. For a high-end brow product, it's definitely my favorite.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil

As far as a drugstore brow pencil, you've gotta try the NYX Micro Brow--it's a total Anastasia dupe, and honestly for under $10, you can't beat it! I've gotten so many people hooked on it, because it's just that good!

Pin Me For Later!

There ya have it! My favorite high-end vs drugstore makeup products all in one place! Have you tried any of these before? Which do you like better--high-end or drugstore?!
