LEOPARD PRINT SKIRT & TIED TEE FROM PRIMARK + COLLEGE FASHION WEEK IN BROOKLYN

This post is sponsored by Primark and Her Campus Media. All opinions are mine alone. Thank you for supporting the brands that make A Classy Fashionista possible!

Is it time for me to head back to NYC yet? It's only been a couple of days, and I'm ready to head back into the city. There's just something about the hustle and bustle that keeps me going. I get such a rush being surrounded by other people set on a mission to crush their goals...or escape the horrendous wind...either way, we were all hustlin'. haha!

In case ya missed it on Instagram stories over the weekend, my husband and I took a weekend trip to NYC for College Fashion Week in Brooklyn. I was so excited to be invited to be at CFW, because it's put on my Her Campus, which is one of my favorite #girlgangs. As the room was filled with tons of College aged women, HerCampus did an amazing job at putting on a fashion show that was for real women. The models weren't "professionals", but they did an amazing job, because they were empowered by what they were wearing.

I feel like that's such a huge game changer--when you're comfortable in what you're wearing, you feel empowered, like you can (and will!) take over the world, because ladies, who runs the world?! GIRLS! Every time I head to a Her Campus event, I leave feeling even more ready to tackle my goals and anything that life has for me. I'm proud to be a #girlboss, and I love each and every second of it.

Today, I wanted to share with you my outfit I wore to CFW, because not only did I feel empowered in my outfit, I got a lot of the core pieces at amazing prices from Primark! I'm talkin' $7 for my tee, $12 for my gorgeous handbag, and only $5 for my earrings, which are the cutest ever!

I'll also be sharing a few pictures from within the CFW venue where Primark had an awesome area filled with photoshoot booths that had inspirational sayings, pieces from their newest collections, and ring lights to make me look a little less crazy after walking all through Brooklyn just hours before.

Okay first things first--can we talk about my $7 tee?! It says, "Fashion is my only vice." I mean, let's be real here, anything that has to do with fashion has me hooked, addicted, and totally obsessed. Fashion is such a huge part of my life...I literally work in fashion every single day both blogging and at my full-time management job, so this tee was all too perfect for me!

Though my leopard skirt isn't from Primark, it was totally inspired from an in-store display! There was an outfit on display with a top and a skirt, and I knew I had to wear my leopard skirt. Once I had the base of my outfit, it was time for my favorite part--accessories! There were so many amazing options for handbags, earrings, hair accessories, you name it--it was there! I ended up getting my earrings and handbag within a matter of seconds. They were love at first sight...and the prices made me do a double take, because I didn't expect them to be so low!!

Doesn't the bag look way more than $12?! It's also a lot bigger than it appears. It fits a full size wallet, a million lipsticks, a water bottle, and I still had room! It was the perfect bag not only for NYC, but I've been carrying it over my designer bags since I got it.

The picture below just shows part of the earring display--there were so many options that it was hard not to get one of each! I can't wait to head back to grab a few more earring styles and of course some more darling outfits.

Now for the CFW recap! I just had to get pics in the photo areas, because they were decorated with the cutest and most inspirational sayings, and also had some of the styles that I just saw in-store a few days prior. There was a sweater dress in-store that I debated on getting and then decided not to get it, but of course, it happened to be on a rack in the photo booth area haunting me, because I didn't get it. So now, I have to grab it sometime this week before they're all gone, because I can't stop thinking about it!

The future is female, peeps. We're starting to take over, and ladies, we're killin' it. There are now more women CEO's than ever before, and it's because we're rising up to be the women we were always meant to be. We were not meant to sit back and be quiet, we're made to be loud, make a riot, and get ish done...cause you know, we do it right the first time. ;)

At the event, there was a wall filled with quotes & inspiration about what girl power meant to everyone. I wasn't sure at first what I wanted to write, but then Chris said, "Are you going to write your quote?!" and then a lightbulb finally went off, so I wrote my quote I've mentioned many times here on the blog: "Stay classy, stay positive, and love the life you live. The world is at your fingertips, darling." --KMJ-- THAT is what girl power means to me, always staying classy...no matter how many idiots come my way, staying positive no matter my situation, and loving the life I live, because you only get one life to live...it's time to make it count, because the world truly is at our fingertips.

I hope I get the opportunity to head back to another Her Campus event in the very near future. Be sure to head to your local Primark and check out their amazing fashion at amazing prices! There are over 330 stores in 11 countries, so you're bound to find one near you, and if not, I'm sure there will be one real soon!

Have you shopped at Primark recently?! What are some of your favorite pieces that you have gotten from Primark? OH! Were you at CFW this year?! I realized once I got home how many of you I knew there and wish I had the chance to say hello! Next time! Until then...
