Anyone out there as over the winter weather as I am? Thank God it will be getting warmer this coming week. To see 50°'s on the weather report made me more excited than when Chris surprised me with the Lemonades Girl Scout cookies I've been snacking on all day.
With slightly warm weather headed our way, I finally feel like I'm mentally ready to wear a dress again. I always avoid them when it's too cold, but this mock neck dress--I couldn't resist! It's the perfect balance of lightweight & cozy.
I love that it has vertical ribbed stripes--they make me feel extra skinny. haha! At first, I was a little iffy on the length of the dress because I'm so short (5'2"), but with a little heel, I ended up loving it! I so wish that I had a fun colored or patterned booties to wear with this dress, but oh well. Maybe I'll find some at the end of the season on super sale!
I'm also showcasing my gorgeous monogram necklace that Chris got me for Christmas. I am so, so obsessed with it, and highly recommend mine--it's the large option from Helzbergs! I've gotten so many compliments on it lately, and I figured I'd share it about it again on the blog.
Lilly (my kitty) and I are having a girl's night tonight, so it's off to relaxing and most likely scrolling and scrolling through Pinterest, because what else is a girl to do on a lazy Saturday? I hope you're having a lovely weekend so far! Also, how do we like the Saturday posting?! With my new job schedule, I thought I'd try it out and see how it goes.
