GUEST BEDROOM REVEAL

A special thanks to Sherwin-Williams for providing the paint to complete this project!

Our guest bedroom is finally finished! I am so, so happy with the way it turned out, and it's finished just in time for my parents to come and stay for a long weekend. We knew that we really needed to get our home completed before Baby Boy is born, and the guest bedroom is one of the most important spaces we needed to complete. My parents live almost three hours away, and when they come to visit, they need a comfy and cozy spot to stay.

Let's start with the basics. For paint, we wanted to keep it light & bright, but add a pop of color, too! The back wall where there are the wood accents, we painted it SW-7005 Pure White by Sherwin-Williams. The rest of the walls in the room are SW-7058 Magnetic Gray by Sherwin-Williams. We love how Magnetic Gray still fits the color palette in our home but adds a little something more than simply using a more subtle gray.

For most of the furniture and decor, I turned to my friends at Wayfair. The bed frame is the perfect mix of modern & farmhouse that we were looking for. The nightstand and dresser are a gorgeous wood tone to add a little warmth to the room. Above the dresser, we put a black mirror to tie in the matte black that you see throughout the room. We also have this mirror leaning, because every bedroom needs a full-length mirror.

To ground the space, you always need a rug! I wanted something soft and fluffy and chose this geometric patterned rug from Wayfair. Other mini decor accents include this side table lamp and this floor lamp.

I can't wait for my parents to come to stay in this completed space next weekend. We'll be prepping all of the last minute things for when Baby Boy is here, because believe it or not, it's my last free weekend before he's born!!!

I hope you enjoyed seeing this space--I can't wait to share the next completed space. Will it be his nursery?! Stay tuned & stay connected!
