Bentley boy is ONE! You know how everyone says the days are long but the years are short?! I'm having an even bigger problem--the days are flying by just as fast as the years. Sure, there were some long days when Bentley was first born, but looking back, I wouldn't trade them for the world. I think back to holding my six-pound two-ounce little peanut and now he's just shy of twenty pounds. He's more than tripled in size and even more so in personality. Bentley is the happiest little dude and I'm so blessed to be his Mama.
I wanted to share some photos from his Winter[ONE]derland as it may bring you joy and a little inspiration for your little one's big day!
Like any special occasion we have, my Mama and I made Bentley's birthday cake and his smash cake. We tried something new this time and made an ombre cake! We had a layer of dark chocolate on the bottom, a mix of chocolate and vanilla in the center, and vanilla on top. The cake was a hit, but Bentley was not a fan of the chocolate. haha!
He loved opening his presents (mostly loved the tissue paper), and it was so fun to celebrate our little dude and the fact that we survived the first year of being parents, too!
