ENTRYWAY REFRESH || SHOE ORGANIZATION

A special thanks to Sicotas for sponsoring this post.

When you walk into your home or welcome guests, the last thing you want to have is a front door and entryway covered and overwhelmed with shoes...and unfortunately, that's how my entryway looked just a few short weeks ago. Every time I would walk in the door, I would be so stressed from shoes covering the floor. So much so that we ran out of room in a basket, underneath the console table, and they ended up in the hallway.

That's when I knew we had to make a change in our entryway and discover a storage solution for our shoes. You know I went straight to Amazon to find something that would be aesthetic and functional in the space. In my search, I fell in love with the Sicotas Shoe Cabinet. Not only does it hold all of our shoes, but it also has gorgeous raised sides so I can put a lamp and a few other decor pieces on top.

All of the shelves are adjustable, so everything from Chris's boots, my boots, and of course, my Bentley's shoes all fit! I even put some of Bentley's winter boots behind his current summer ones so everything was stored in one place. Having the large majority of our shoes at the front door makes it so much easier to get out the door (mamas, you know what I mean when it comes to toddlers and shoes haha!) but in all seriousness, it's a game-changer.

I also love the fact that our shoes stay within the entryway. I'm a huge believer in shoes off at the door--or at the very least, in our home, the farthest they go is the front staircase. This helps our home stay cleaner and less cluttered!

The Sicotas Shoe Cabinet is a gorgeous wood color and the rattan detail is not your traditional rattan--but in a good way! I love that it's not a breakable rattan. It's a durable material that looks like rattan, so I don't have to worry about little ones (or the kitty cat) ripping or destroying it. It was easy to assemble, too, and the doors feature soft-close hinges, so there's no slamming doors when Bentley puts his shoes away!

I am completely obsessed with how my entryway came together and I can check one more space off my decluttering list!

Happy organizing!
