BALCONY DECOR ON A BUDGET

Jun 9, 2017

I am lucky enough to have a pretty good sized balcony at my apartment. In the Summertime, I love sitting outside when it's warm out to blog, eat dinner, or have a friend over for coffee. When I first moved in about two years ago, I only had a table and two chairs and one plant. Every time I would look out my sliding glass doors, I would see my pathetic garden space. Last Summer, I added a few more flowers, but this year, I went all out, but not out of budget.

For everything I bought this year to update my balcony, I spent less than $75. If you want to include my total balcony spending from the past two years (this includes my table & chairs), then I have spent about $150. Not bad at all for decorating an entire space.

I went online to find links for you guys of everything I bought this year and over the past year or so, but as always, the online selection is a little different than in-store. I'm linking some that are exact and others that are similar. I found all of these items in store at Walmart, Target, and Lowes.

Tip: Look on the clearance rack. The majority of these items, I paid about half of what they are listed for online. I love, love, love in-store clearance racks.

Walmart
Peony Plant (Similar)
Six-Pack Annuals (I got so many different varieties)
I couldn't find any links for the annuals online, but at Walmart they have several sections of six-pack plants for $2! You can get as many or a little of these as you like. I used these to fill up my planter hanging on my railing.

Target
Table (Similar) & Chairs
Check in-store for this one, it's usually cheaper. I found mine on clearance!

Lowes

I tried to be artsy, and it turned out pretty cool. I will forever be obsessed with my ring. It makes it even more perfect, because this Peony is GORG!

Have you decorated your outdoor space for the Summer? What are your favorite flowers?

Stay Classy.
xx,
Kristen
