Whenever I go to a baby shower, I am always determined to make the cutest gift. For my niece's baby shower, I ended up making a diaper cake and decorated it with a receiving blanket, toys, and a stuffed animal. I just love being able to get creative with gifts. Over the past month, I've known at least ten people have their babies or they are about to pop any day now. In this same month, I've seen countless baby announcements from friends that I couldn't be happier for.

I'm at the age where all of my friends are having babies, getting preggo, or have a date set in mind to start trying for a baby. It's such a weird and exciting time. I can't believe that I'm old enough to start thinking about these things. Where has the time gone?!

Anyways, I thought that since all of my friends, and I'm sure most of yours are having kiddos (or maybe you're about to have a baby!), that I would put together a super easy tutorial for a DIY baby spa gift basket that will allow your gift to stand out at the next baby shower you attend. You probably already have an invitation waiting on the fridge--I know I do! Okay, let's get started!

What You'll Need //

Basket or Box
Crinkle Paper Basket Filler
2-3 JOHNSON'S® Baby Products
Stuffed Animal
Baby Washcloth(s)
Baby Hat(s) or Onesie
Clear Large Cellophane Bag
2 Inch Ribbon

Why Johnson & Johnson? //

So when I first saw the new Johnson's packaging, I just couldn't stand how cute they were! They have adorable little ocean critter and wildlife themes to make bath time that much cuter. As I was prepping to get supplies for this tutorial, I knew who I would want to gift this to. They have a whale and ocean theme for their baby boy who is just about one month old already, and the designer J&J packaging fit perfectly.

This Johnson & Johnson designer wrap packaging is exclusive to Target, both in-stores and online. To purchase the exact J&J products that I am using in this post, hover your cursor over the items in the image above, or to see the entire collection, click here! I purchased the JOHNSON's® Baby HEAD-TO-TOE® Wash, JOHNSON'S® Baby Bubble Bath & Wash, and JOHNSON'S® Baby Lotion. They were on an end-cap as shown in the picture below!

I love that at JOHNSON'S® Baby they genuinely care about what ingredients they use so that your baby, your niece, nephew, or your friend's new little love bug is getting the best products, because safety is their #1 priority. These well-known products that we've all been using for years are made with no parabens, no phthalates, are hypoallergenic, and are not tested on animals. To read JOHNSON'S®  dedication to safety and for answers to FAQ's click here

DIY Baby Spa Gift Basket Tutorial //

One //

Grab your box or basket (I got my box from the Target gift section for $5), and fill the bottom with any color you'd like of crinkle paper basket filler. I ended up using an entire bag. I purchased it for $2 at a local craft store.

Two //

Arrange your choice of JOHNSON'S® baby products in the back of the box or basket since they will most likely be the tallest items. I "dug" little holes in the crinkle paper to allow the products to sit better. Use the crinkle paper to your advantage and fluff it up if you need to. Just move it around until the first "layer" of products are staying how you want them.

Three //

Place your baby washcloths in front of the JOHNSON'S® baby products to create a new layer of items. I couldn't resist the little dinos on them. Plus, they came in the white bag in a set of 20 for under $5! Again, use the crinkle paper to support the washcloths so that they stay in place.

Four //

Add your choice of stuffed animal next to the washcloths as seen in the picture above. I fluffed the crinkle paper behind the little bear so that he would have something to "lean" on.

Five //

Place the baby hat(s) or onesie in the empty spaces towards the front. I even put one on the bear! I found these hats in a set of three for under $2 at Target. Target for the win, like always!

Six //

If you are using a box like me, place the lid on the bottom. Open up the clear large cellophane bag and place the box or basket inside.

Seven //

Scrunch up the excess cellophane at the top and tie a bow around it using your choice in color of ribbon. I used a ribbon that had wiring in the outside edges, which made it so much easier to shape and mold my bow.

There ya have it! A super easy DIY baby spa gift basket that will surely turn heads at the next baby shower you go to. Including all three JOHNSON'S® baby products, stuffed animal, washcloths, baby hats, and all supplies, it was only $35! It's the perfect pricing for any budget, and it only took about ten minutes to assemble.

Do you love DIY gifts as much as I do?! What are some of your most creative ideas you've given as gifts?

Stay Classy.
xx,
Kristen

  6. Better and more expensive spas have adjustable hydro jets in them that induces warmed air from the equipment cabinet into the water. This is a better option for your spa than a motor driven blower.
