FARMHOUSE GLAM CHRISTMAS DECOR

Dec 8, 2017

I received products from CreativeGallery.com & Photography.com, both companies of Horizon Worldwide in exchange for styling. All opinions are mine alone.

I have never been so excited to decorate for Christmas. While I was at different stores gathering all of my Christmas decorations for this year, I would walk back and forth between the same aisles just to get inspiration. I could have stayed there for hours just because it was full of Christmas happiness. Now I know y'all are super nosey and want to peek into my home again, so I figured I'd show you my Christmas decor for this year! ;) So, grab a cup of hot chocolate, turn on some Christmas music, and enjoy!

For some of my decor this year, I teamed up with Horizon Worldwide, which one of the largest custom photo wall art & decor manufacturers in the United States. In my post, you will see highlights from both of their websites, CreativeGallery.com & Photography.com. On CreativeGallery.com, you will find over 75,000 stunning art pieces to choose from. I chose two wooden farmhouse pieces that I am obsessed with! One says Joy to the World and the other says Farmers Market.

From Photography.com, I got a little sentimental, and honestly a little teary-eyed when I opened my package, because they are just that beautiful! I chose to have two pieces done on canvas with pictures from my wedding. Every time I look through my wedding pictures, I get to re-live that day and to have this artwork custom made for me, meant the world.

With both sites, you can choose to have your artwork & memories printed on more than just canvas and wood. You can also choose from glass, metal, or acrylic, too! With so many varieties, your possibilities are endless, and you can create a truly one-of-a-kind piece for your home.

For my bar cart, I chose to use the Joy to the World wooden art piece as the focal point. I draped Christmas lights all around the art and my mirror to create a homey Christmas feel. I just love how perfectly it fits in with my farmhouse glam theme! In my vase, I put a few findings from Michael's Craft Store that were less than $5! I'm so in love with the gold, glitzy stag head!

If you've seen my other home tours including my dining room, you've seen my wedding picture gallery wall. With the help of Photography.com, I was able to add one more stunning piece to the mix. The center gold frame is framed canvas and the outcome is absolutely breath taking. It is printed ever so perfectly and I could not be any happier with the way it looks in my dining room.

For my Christmas decor, I decided to keep it rather simple this year. We're throwing our annual Christmas party, but Chris wants to keep it on the casual side, so I had to hold myself back with the decor this year. haha! For my tablescape, I bunched up a scarf that I also used as a table runner in this post. I figured I'd keep the plaid going through the Holiday season since it fits with my farmhouse decor. The decor elements are so super simple and inexpensive. I took a couple candles and placed them on a cake plate, and I filled two mason jars with cranberries and added in a few decor elements from Michael's craft store, just like I did in the vase on the bar cart. So easy to make and easy on the budget, too!

Living Room & Kitchen //

In the living room, you will find my darling Christmas tree in all of its glory. I just love the way it came out this year. I draped plaid ribbon all throughout the tree and incorporated red, gold, silver, and white ornaments. I found the cutest gold glitzy pine cones at Target that I just had to have, and of course, I picked up a few ornaments from the Hearth & Hand line.

Pro Tip: If you have an artificial tree, wrap the inside pole with inexpensive garland. It will fill in the gaps and make your tree appear fuller!

Behind the tree is a Farm Fresh sign. I ended up picking it up at Marshall's when I was on the hunt for something to cover up the hideous in-wall air conditioner. When I got it home, it fit perfectly. So if you have an ugly air conditioner, try covering it up during the Holidays since you're not using it anyways!

On my shelves, I decorated it with all the farmhouse glam Christmas decor I could find. On my second shelf, I have another stunning piece from Photography.com, a framed canvas double print. I thought that it was just too perfect for our individual wedding shots. It will be a piece that Chris and I cherish always not only because it's from our wedding day, but because the canvas was printed using state-of-the-art technology and UV resistant inks that are designed to last a lifetime.

In our kitchen, I placed the farmers market wooden sign in the corner near our wooden spoons and sugar container, because I felt it really helped to bring the farmhouse kitchen feel all together. I have Christmas lights draped on top of my kitchen cabinets to give a glowy Christmas vibe as well! I totally would have shown you more of my kitchen, but it looks the same as always. I can't get to crazy with the decor in there since we have the party coming up and there will be loads of food all on the counters. Plus, I have to keep at least one room in the home practical, right?! haha!
