COFFEE DATE IN BROOKLYN + BROWN LEATHER SKIRT & SWEATER

Oct 22, 2018

Holy smokes what an amazing weekend I just had! On Saturday morning, Chris and I left for Brooklyn to head to College Fashion Week with Primark & Her Campus. I'll have a post coming up later this week talking all about that, but today, I wanted to share with you a classy fall outfit that's perfect for a coffee date, work, or church!

I'm obsessed with anything that's cozy and cream when the temperatures dip below sixty, so of course I'm going to wear one of my favorite sweaters. My leather skirt is of course from LOFT as well, you know, I'm obsessed with them. ;) I thought that this was the perfect outfit for a coffee date--so confession: that's all I wore it to. haha! Chris and I ended up grabbing coffee and a bagel on Sunday morning at the TRoom Café, which was in the lobby of the hotel we stayed at in Brooklyn. It was the most darling little spot, and not only was I in love with the decor, the customer service was amazing!

Since we were in Brooklyn on blog business, I edited some pics while we sipped our coffee. A little work, a little play! Soon after this, we adventured to Central Park for some photos. I was hoping that the leaves were going to be kissed by autumn, but they were still mostly green. I guess it gives me an excuse to head back to NYC even sooner. It was super windy and cold, so I didn't get as many photos as I wanted to get, but just the thrill of being in the city is enough for me. We hung out on the Upper East Side for most of Sunday afternoon, because that's what Blair Waldorf would do.

We passed by the Met, Bryant Park, the Empire State Building, and pretty much everything from Brooklyn to the Upper East Side. I can't believe how much we fit into our short 36 hours in the city, but I am grateful for each and every one of them...except for the hour and a half it took us to locate a metro that was actually working...thanks to rail maintenance on pretty much everything. Didn't they know I was in the city?! haha!

I hope you had an amazing weekend, and I can't wait to share more of my NYC adventures with you this week!

P.S. My laptop skin is (c/o) CaseAPP!
