It finally feels like fall, y'all! I know it's practically winter in other states, but we finally have yellow-ish leaves and they're gorgeous here in Eastern Pennsylvania. It only took forever for them to change--and then a huge rainstorm and almost tornado decided to wipe them out. haha!
Chris and I decided to make a date day this past Saturday to get pics for the blog & stop for pizza. We drove all the way into Philadelphia to go to the gorgeous Wissahickon Trail. I had never been there before, and to my surprise, at the Inn, there was a wedding taking place! We stopped and watched the gorgeous couple get married, since the trail we wanted to get to was just passed the area the wedding was taking place. Once the bride & groom said their I do's and I took a peek at the bride's stunning dress, we kept on walking and enjoyed the brisk fall weather and the crunchy leaves beneath our feet.
Since it's been in the fifties the past couple of weeks, I've been wearing cozy sweaters non-stop. If you don't know this about me, I'm pretty much always cold, and the winter weather is not my friend. I love dressing in layers and in cozy sweaters, so I guess there's a win somewhere in there.
For my outfit, since I knew we were going to be walking for a couple of miles, I wanted to keep it casual, but cute! The night before, we went to Primark to get a few things with gift cards we had, so I picked up new black OTN boots! The quality is pretty great for being under $30, and I was so excited that they have a tie in the back so that they actually stay up on my legs!!
My handbag is featured in this post--I bought it for my trip to NYC & College Fashion Week! It was only $12, and I have carried it just as much if not more than my designer handbags since I got it. So totally impressed with the quality and of course the darling style.
My sweater is almost sold out in regular, but there are still tons of petite and plus sizes left! It's super cozy and comes in two colors--tan and a pretty greenish-blue. My black denim are a staple in my wardrobe and should be in yours, too! You can't see it in this post, because I'm wearing my OTN boots, but they have darling double fringe at the bottom! They are currently on sale for $39.50, so act fast before the sale ends!
