EVERYDAY GLAM MAKEUP TUTORIAL FEAT. TRISH MCEVOY CARPE DIEM PLANNER

Hello, lovelies! I hope you're having a wonderful week so far. I've been busy, busy, and it feels like it's been the longest week ever. I'm so ready to have off work for a long weekend so I can relax, have a self-care on Friday, shoot for some campaigns on Saturday, and spend Sunday with family & friends. It's going to be an amazing weekend--I can't wait!

Last week, I shared all about my experience with my spa and makeover experience with my friend Larissa, who works at Nordstrom for Trish McEvoy. You can check out last week's post to read all about it, and enter to win to hang out with me at a Trish McEvoy Master Class at the KOP Mall next week!

For today's post, I wanted to share with y'all how I would use these products, and I created an everyday glam makeup look. I have fallen head over heels for these makeup products, and I have gotten so many compliments on my makeup. Not only is it luxury makeup, but it also looks & feels luxurious, too. It's so easy to apply & blend, and it lasts all day, which is something that is a must-have for me, since I am on-the-go always, and always.

Inside the Trish McEvoy Carpe Diem planner, there is almost everything you need for a full face of makeup. The only few things I used that aren't included in the planner was the Trish McEvoy Beauty Balm, a little of my trusty Tarte Shape Tape Concealer (my dark circles have been horrible lately), the TM Luminizer, my NYX Brow Definer, and I used a little bit of my It Cosmetics CC+ Cream for fuller coverage on my nose and cheeks to conceal my rosacea.

First things first, I used a little Line Refiner under my eyes, on my smile lines, and in between my brows to help my makeup from creasing within my fine lines. This stuff is amazing, and I've definitely noticed a difference in my makeup longevity--less creasing, for sure! Next, I used the TM Beauty Balm and applied it with a damp Real Techniques beauty sponge. I then used one pump of my ride or die It Cosmetics CC+ Cream to conceal my rosacea like I said before.

Next, I used a little Instant Eye Lift under my eyes to brighten my dark circles. I also used a bit of my Tarte Shape Tape (literally just a dab in the corner), because it's been a long week. haha!

I used the setting powder that comes in the planner to set my makeup, and then it was time to add a little color back into my face! I am so, so obsessed with the bronzer color and how it applies so smooth on the skin. You can see in the picture below just how pigmented it really is--don't worry I blended it out a little. haha!

On an everyday basis, I'll contour my cheeks, forehead, and my nose--just ever-so-slightly. I feel like it gives my face so much more dimension, and I love the look it gives.

Next, it's time for a little blush! The blush color that comes in the Carpe Diem planner is simply gorgeous. It's just pigmented enough that it gives my cheeks the perfect lift. Something that's a misconception about us gals with rosacea is that we shouldn't wear blush, because we already experience so much redness naturally.

Well, I'm here to shut that down quickly, because if you're using a foundation and concealer that's right for you, you will be able to go back and add natural coloring back to your skin without it looking patchy like rosacea normally does. My rosacea goes literally all the way down my cheeks, so it's nice to have control over how much color my cheeks have.

Now for the fun part, and the most "glam" part about this tutorial--the eyes! First, I applied a little of the eye base that comes in the planner and also filled in my brows with my NYX Brow Definer.

I'm going to start raving about the bronzer again, because y'all, it's the perfect transition shade for your eye look. I just added a little in my crease, and it allowed me to effortlessly blend my entire eye look. It's also something that Larissa showed me while she was applying my makeup--I definitely wouldn't have thought to do that!

After blending in the bronzer color to the crease, I used a little of the Raspberry shadow in my crease as well. Since I have hazel eyes, this color works wonders for me. It's such a gorgeous shade, and it makes my eyes pop so beautifully. I love my eyes, so it's nice to have so many shades that I'm in love with in this planner!

Once the Cranberry shadow was blended in my crease, I added a little bit of the color Nutmeg in my outer corner. This really helps to open up my eyes--especially if you have hooded eyes like I do!

I took a little bit of Nutmeg and Cranberry mixed together on a definer brush and used that under my lower lash line. Ever since I started doing this a few years ago, I can't stop. If I forget or I don't one day, my eyes don't look as open & awake! You can see the difference in the picture below--one eye is defined, and the other isn't. Definitely a huge difference to me!

Time for a little shimmer shadow to glam up this eye look! The shimmer shadow: Stary Eye Shadow in the color White Gold is gorgeous! It's super pigmented and the shimmer lasts all day long. I just love the way it looks with these colors, and it just adds the perfect amount of glam to the eye look without going overboard since it's still an everyday glam look.

The next step is what I'm deeming the secret weapon in this planner. It's truly been a game-changer for me lately, and it might be my favorite thing in the planner--besides the bronzer and shadows...okay, I love everything in it, but anywhoo...the Eye Brightener Pencil gives me life and helps me look like I've had tons of sleep when I really haven't.

I use the Eye Brightener Pencil under my brows to give my brows a little lift, and I use it in my waterline. This helps open up tired eyes and helps the whites of my eyes look a little brighter.

To finish the eye look, I used the eyeliner and mascara that came in the planner. I applied the liner in a thin line--keeping it especially thin in the inner corner. Sometimes I'll start super thin and get gradually ever-so-slightly thicker as I go towards my outer corner to give my eyes an even more "open" appearance.

Two coats of mascara top & bottom will give your lashes a glam without the falsies look! If you want even longer & thicker lashes, use my favorite mascara primer first!

Just two more quick steps and we're finished! The Luminizer isn't included in the planner, but I love, love it. It's a liquid highlighter and it gives my cheeks the perfect glow. You can even apply your favorite powder highlighter (which I've done a lot lately!) over top of it for an even more dramatic highlight.

Last, but not least, a little lippie. This lip color is gorgeous and this alone--even without the glam eye look has gotten me so many compliments. I'm obsessed with the color, and it goes on so smooth, and best of all, it lasts for hours & hours.

I wish I had gotten a better picture at the end, but you know me, I was running late and had to run out the door to head to work. Don't worry though--I'll be wearing this makeup look in some of my next outfit posts, so be sure to keep a look out for those so you can see this makeup look with a styled outfit!

What do you think of this look? Would you wear this everyday glam makeup look?!
